Please note the following Hue policies regarding your visit.
• Appointments: Effective December 1, 2009, Hue will be requesting a credit card in order to book an appointment. You will not be charged for your appointment in advance. However, we do require a 24 hour cancellation notice. If you need to cancel or move your appointment less than 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment, Hue will charge 50% of cost of the service. This is a courtesy to the service providers, and allows Hue to accommodate the needs of other clients.

Why are you suddenly changing your reservation policy?
Hue has experienced higher than expected last-minute cancellations and no-show appointments. We block out anywhere from one to three hours for an individual appointment. When a guest “no shows” or cancels at the last minute, our Stylists and Estheticians are not able to re-book another appointment. This results in lost revenue for our business and service providers.
What happens if I have a true emergency?
We know that there are true emergencies that you may face. We will allow one “grace” cancellation of less than 24 hours. After one grace cancellation, our policy of charging 50% of the cost of the appointment will apply.
I don’t want to give you my credit card information. What are my options?We would be happy to have you as a guest on a same-day or walk-in basis. Or, you may stop by the salon and we can swipe your card directly into our credit card system so it is on file.
Do I have to pay my service by credit card, or can I use cash?
You may use any allowable tender type, including cash or another credit card, to pay for your service. The credit card on file is used only in the event you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours before the appointment.
What happens if I am late for my appointment?
We appreciate when you arrive on time, but we know that you may run late due to circumstances beyond your control. If you are excessively late (greater than 15 minutes past your appointment time), you will be subject to Hue’s cancellation policy and may be charged 50% the cost of your appointment.
• Cancellations: Hue understands that sometimes you need to change your scheduled appointment. We kindly ask that you give us 24 hour notice if you must cancel your salon or spa appointment.
• Arrival times: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to spa services to allow time to change into spa attire and for a pre-service consultation. We wish to accommodate our guests to the fullest extent. In the event you will be late for your service, please notify our front desk so you may be appropriately accommodated.
• Prices are subject to change without notice: In certain instances, our prices may change. If you are concerned about the price, please confirm prices with our reservationists while booking your appointment.
• Personal articles: We regret that we cannot be responsible for loss or damage to personal articles including clothing or accessories, handbags or purchased merchandise. We also ask that you wear the smock provided for protection of your clothing.
• Staff Selection/Changes: On occasion, our service providers may not be able to assist you for your appointment due to sickness or family emergencies. In those cases, we will do our best to find you another service provider at your scheduled time or reschedule with the same provider.
• Mobile Phones: For the comfort and relaxation of all of Hue’s guests we ask that you would please turn off your cell phones and pagers while in the spa and hair salon.
• Payment Options: Credit Cards: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.Checks are no longer accepted. Valid identification is required for all purchases. A returned check is subject to a $25.00 fee.
• Gift Cards: Gift cards are not refundable and no remaining credit will be issued in cash. Gift Cards must be presented upon arrival for your appointment(s).
• Points: Points accumulated on the Hue Rewards Program are not redeemable for cash. They must be used for in-salon purchases.
• Spa Satisfaction: Your privacy and comfort are of the utmost importance to us. Spa treatments require various levels of undress and out therapists are trained in appropriate methods of draping. Although your therapist will discuss a complete overview of the treatment you will experience, please feel free to ask any question or make any special requests to ensure your own comfort level.
