About the Tresses
HCS tresses are made of top quality human hair attached to an anchor band of thin, flexible material. The anchor band has a series of holes through which small portions of hair are drawn and laced along the length of the anchor band. The result is a comfortable fit and natural movement without unsightly bonds that can damage hair.  HCS tresses are reusable and may be removed and reattached at a later date.

HCS hair is easy to maintain and may be worn up or down. For length, volume or color enhancement, HCS hair extensions create dramatic results in about one hour.

Extension Maintenance & Home Care
Your stylist will work with you to provide you with the most natural and durable extensions possible. It is up to you to make sure your extensions stay beautiful and damage free. Extension care is extremely important yet easy if you follow a few simple steps. 

1. Clean - Always keep your Hair Compliments Tresses clean. We recommend you wash your hair three times or less per week. Shampooing and conditioning your hair prevents tangles and keeps the Tress soft and subtle. Your stylist will work with you on shampooing and conditioning techniques and recommendations.

2. Brush – Be sure you brush your Hair Compliments Tresses daily, using only a boars’ hair brush. A boars’ hair brush is included in the NXS Hair Compliments System at home kit.  

3. Sleeping – Never sleep on wet hair; ensure that your Hair Compliments Tress is completely dry before going to bed. When your hair is wet, your hair cuticle is open and will cause tangling and breakage while you sleep.

4. In Salon Touch-Ups – It is vital to the life of your extensions and to the health of your natural hair to return for in salon touch-ups. Touch-ups are recommended every 4-6 weeks. Your stylist will tell you the time frame that is appropriate for you.
